Simply Ageless Foundation Reviews
There’s a lot of hype over the Covergirl & Olay Simply Ageless Foundation product that combines the best of both brands into a single product. Simply Ageless Foundation is quite different from others that are currently available on the market. It attracts a great deal of attention from celebrities, beauty publications, and regular customers.

What is Simply Ageless Foundation?
Simply Ageless Foundation is a combination of CoverGirl and Oil of Olay products that are already being sold separately. It takes the “flawless coverage” of CoverGirl foundation and fuses it with Olay Regenerist Serum. This serum moisturizes the skin, improves its overall appearance over time, and provides the skin with an SPF of 22. Skin imperfections are concealed by the foundation part of the product, while simultaneously being repaired by the serum. How well will it work for you?
Cons of Simply Ageless Foundation
Simply Ageless Foundation receives rave reviews from just about everybody including individuals and top beauty and fashion magazines. One common complaint however, is that the packaging is cheap. It is very easy to spot and identify in the foundation section of a department store (with a glass bottom portion of the compact clearly showing the foundation with the Olay serum running through it). The compact itself is made out of a cheap plastic which is flimsy and breaks very easily. The compact not designed well enough to travel in a handbag. Many customers also say that the packaging is awkward in its “stages”. That is, from where the application sponge is kept to actually accessing the product itself.
The good news is that the company has listened to its customers and recent changes to the packaging seem to fix these issues.
Pros of Simply Ageless Foundation
That being said, consumers seem very satisfied with the results from the product itself. It applies smoothly and makes the skin feel soft and smooth. There is a cool fresh sensation and an even appearance to the complexion. The appearance of fine lines are also reduced. It’s noted that the product had an “invisible” feeling, as though it was not there. People with oily skin complained that their faces became shiny over time and that shine-free powder became necessary.
Overall, considering the price (typically around $30), quality ingredients, strong brand names, and very positive reviews, Covergirl & Olay Simply Ageless Foundation is a product worth trying.
I purchased Cover Girl Simply Ageless compact and I can’t get it open. The clear lid doesn’t ‘simply turn’! I hate it! I have arthritis and can’t open it at all.
I purchased the Simply Ageless Foundation and was not pleased at all. Hate the container, what happened to the easy access compact ones? This one almost appears to be upside down when opening? Wondered if the manufacturer made a mistake?
The other problem I had was, the foundation shrinking and breaking apart, into pieces and it wasn’t expired yet? Not to mention the color is lighter than usual. Not good, I would take this back to the store, but threw away my receipt so venting instead on how disappointed I am in this product.
I am 36 years old, have a lot of acne and wrinkles and enlarged pores so I decided to give this foundation a try. I can see that it would be good for coverage of acne, bumps, zits, whatever you want to call them because it has a formula that really takes the red out of your skin, but it is think like spackle.
I purchased it at my local grocery store, the sale price was $12. (20% off). I like the pretty swirl design. That being said, I had a really hard time getting it onto my foundation brush. It didn’t work so I tried using my fingers which did not work either. The more I rubbed, the more I removed. Being as creative as I am, used it with the tiny sponge. Once on my face, it came out really pale. It seemed to get paler on my skin the more i had it on lol. The product also seemed to sit on my skin and emphasize every little pore. It’s thick, but it happily sinks into pores. So I found it covers the redness, but not much else. It does not exactly give a natural finish, Grant it I have bad skin, but for me, it was too much like a clowns mask then make-up.
I love this stuff. I have very dry skin and have a problem with flaking after I put on a lot of foundations. But I don’t like the alternatives that are usually thick and oily and feel like you’ve applied a layer of grease to your face.
This is just thin and light, to the point that I forget that I have it on. When I apply powder over top, it doesn’t cause flaking. When I apply blush and eye shadow, they stay in place and don’t form creases and lines over time. It doesn’t fade throughout the entire work day. I work on the phone a lot and it doesn’t come off on the ear piece and it doesn’t appear to be wiping away from the side of my face where the phone sometimes brushes.
It’s like wearing a very light moisturizer and foundation at once, but isn’t badly designed like a lot of tinted moisturizers out there. I also found that there were a lot of shades, so I was able to find one that matched my skin tone quite nicely.
I love the way that cover girl & olay simply ageless foundation is smooth and even. You only need a tiny amount to go a long way.
I am a foundation junkie and I really like this foundation. It goes on very light and smooth. I like a foundation to feel as though I am not wearing anything and this does that. There is nothing worse then feeling like you are wearing a mask and your face has a “heavy” feel to it.
It does give great coverage too. Perfect for blemishes, red spots and uneven skin tones. It also does not settle into fine lines, which would bring them out even more. I find skin feels cool, moisturized and refreshed too. It is also easy to blend and I didn’t have any trouble with the packaging. 🙂
